Kite Making Workshop for Corporate Team Building
How a session runs, how long it takes, how many people can join and where it can be held.
A Fly360 corporate kite making workshop is a hands-on team activity where participants design, build and fly their own kites with expert guidance. Sessions run from about 90 minutes to four hours, all materials are provided and no experience is needed. Fly360 has taught 1,017 people at once, a Limca record. Group size, venue and date set the quote.
What is a kite making workshop for team building?
It is a hands-on session where a team designs, builds and flies its own kites, guided by Fly360’s instructors. Everyone gets a kit and a briefing, then works in small groups. Nobody needs experience, and every participant leaves with a kite they made.

How does a corporate session run?
A typical session follows four steps.
- Briefing. About 10 minutes on how a kite flies, covering wind, lift and balance.
- Build. Each participant receives a complete kit and designs and builds a kite with expert guidance.
- Tune. Instructors help adjust each kite for the local wind.
- Fly. The group heads outside. A flying competition, judged on altitude, stability and longest airtime, adds friendly rivalry.
How long does a team workshop take?
Plan for 90 minutes to 2 hours for a standard corporate session. Fly360 describes workshop sessions as typically running two to four hours, and the length can be shortened or extended to fit your agenda.
How many people can take part?
Group size is rarely the limit. Fly360 holds a Limca Book of Records title for the largest kite making workshop, with 1,017 participants taught at the same time. For large groups and corporate bookings, the team arranges a customised session.

Where can the workshop run?
The building part works indoors, in a conference room, a sales lounge or under shade. The flying part needs open outdoor space with clear sky and no power lines. Most corporate sessions split the two. If the wind or rain is poor on the day, the workshop still runs indoors and the flying moves to the next suitable slot.

Teams that cannot meet in person have two options. Fly360 runs online sessions with video tutorials, and the shop sells a DIY colour-and-fly kit from ₹449 for a home activity.
Why does kite making work for teams?
In Fly360’s experience, a kite cannot be built by one person alone. The person who cannot draw relies on the one who can, and the quiet colleague becomes the expert on string tension. Titles stay at the door, because the goal is shared: get the kite in the air. Fly360 lists BMW and Mahindra among the corporate teams it has run workshops for.
What does a team workshop cost?
Fly360 quotes each workshop for the event and does not publish a fixed rate. Send your group size, date and venue to care@fly360.co.in or message +91 77009 39376 on WhatsApp. For a longer programme, you can add a kite show or a flying session for the whole office.
