Wedding and Birthday Kites: Personalised Designs, Kite Shows and Return Gifts
How to put your names, photo or party theme on a kite, add a kite show to a wedding, and give guests a gift they fly.
Fly360 prints kites with a couple’s names, photo or wedding hashtag, makes heart-shaped anniversary kites, and flies kite shows at weddings in day and LED night formats. For birthdays it runs kite making workshops where each child builds and keeps a kite, and it can print a name, age or party theme on kites used as return gifts. Book early, especially around January’s Uttarayan season, because custom kites are made to order.
What are personalised wedding and birthday kites?
A personalised kite is a working kite printed with your photo, message, names or artwork. Fly360 prints on premium waterproof fabric with a long-lasting colour print and delivers a complete ready-to-fly kit with the kite, spars, line and handle. Shapes include the classic diamond, a heart for weddings and anniversaries, and fully custom shapes, with premium gift packaging available.

How do kites work at a wedding?
There are two ways to use kites at a wedding, and many couples combine them.
- Personalised kites. Printed with the couple’s initials, names, wedding hashtag or photograph.
- A kite show. Fly360’s crew flies a display at sunset, or on a beach or riverfront, or runs an LED night show for a sangeet or reception.
A show can open the celebration as a welcome for arriving guests, or run mid-programme to re-energise the crowd. Guests can fly kites too, under the crew’s supervision. You need no kite experience, because the crew brings the kites and equipment and runs the entire segment.

How do kites work at a birthday party?
The most popular route is a kite making workshop. Fly360’s instructors bring the materials, guide each child through building a real kite from the frame up, and then help everyone fly what they made. Workshops suit children from age five, sessions typically last two to four hours, and every child goes home with their own kite. Kite flying has no skill barrier or age limit, so parents and grandparents join in too.
For an evening party, LED kites work after sunset. Resorts and farmhouses suit the activity well because they usually have the open lawn it needs.

Which kites make good return gifts?
You can print a kite with a name, age, photograph or party theme, or buy ready-made. Starting prices are indicative, in Indian rupees, and current product pages take precedence.
| Option | What guests get | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| DIY colour-and-fly kit | A kit each guest colours in and flies | ₹449 online |
| Ready-made character and eddy kites | A designer kite that ships ready to fly | ₹699 online |
| Ready-made delta kites | A larger designer kite | ₹799 online |
| Custom printed kites | A kite with your name, photo or theme | Depends on size, design and shape. Reach out for a quote |
Ready-made kites ship free on prepaid orders across India. Printed and bulk orders are quoted individually, with a mockup to approve first. Browse the Fly360 shop or see personalised kite gifts.
How far ahead should you book, and what does it cost?
Book as early as possible once your date is set. Custom kites are made to order, and a kite show needs at least 3 to 4 weeks. January’s Uttarayan season is the busiest. A kite show has no fixed package rate, because the price depends on guest count, city, programme length and any LED night show or custom kites you add. Send your date, city and headcount for a quote.
