A Legacy Written In the Sky

Each achievement is a chapter in a story that began with a single string and a belief that kites could do more than drift in the wind.

First Prize - Gujarat International Kite Festival

Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India

Some achievements are measured in size. This one was measured in less than two inches. FLY360, Ashok Shah designed and flew a fully functional 1.5-inch miniature kite - an engineering feat that caught the attention of the nation.

At the Gujarat International Kite Festival, Fly360 was awarded the First Prize by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this ultra-miniature kite that defied the limits of what was considered physically possible. The kite flew with grace - a tiny ambassador of India's sky-arts tradition on the world stage.

Limca Book of Records - Largest Kite-Making Workshop

Solapur International Kite Festival, India

Teaching one person to make a kite is craft. Teaching 1,017 people simultaneously - and doing it well enough to break a national record - is engineering.

At the Solapur International Kite Festival, Fly360 orchestrated the largest simultaneous kite-making and aerodynamics workshop ever conducted, with 1,017 participants in a single sitting. Every student walked away with a kite they built themselves. The Limca Book of Records made it official.

Letter of Appreciation from President APJ Abdul Kalam to Ashok Shah for Pushpak Space Shuttle kite design
Presidential Recognition

Letter of Appreciation from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

New Delhi, India

When one of the greatest aerospace minds India has ever produced takes a moment to personally sign a letter of appreciation - you know the work touched something real.

Ashok Shah designed and gifted the "Pushpak" - a space shuttle-themed custom kite - to the former President of India and celebrated rocket scientist, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Dr. Kalam responded with a personally signed Letter of Appreciation, recognising the artistry, aerodynamic thinking, and inspiration behind the design.

To this day, this letter remains one of Fly360's most treasured honours - a bridge between a kite artist and the nation's most beloved scientist.

Limca Book of Records - World Record

Second World Record - Pulse Candy Kite-Making Event

India

Fly360's second Limca Book of Records title came with equal ambition - a mass-scale, branded kite-making event executed in partnership with Pulse Candy (DS Group).

Once again, Fly360 proved that aerial experiences can transcend spectator entertainment: they can actively engage thousands of people, build brand memory, and set national benchmarks at the same time. This record stands as a testament to Fly360's ability to design experiences that are as measurable as they are memorable.

Not many artists from any discipline see their work preserved in international museums on two continents. Ashok Shah is one of them.

Fly360's custom-designed, artificial diamond-studded Lord Radha Krishna kite is part of the permanent collection at the World Kite Museum, Washington D.C., USA. A companion work - a Lord Ganesh kite - holds its place in the World Kite Museum, Istanbul, Turkey.

These are not exhibition pieces. They are India's cultural identity, stitched into ripstop nylon and sent across oceans to tell a story that needs no translation.
