Thus, to give them the best experience, we let their imagination on the loose and gave them the freedom to draw on the canvas of the kite according to their own wishes. The canvas was soon decorated with splashes of colours, butterflies with sparkling wings, pictures of their favourite cartoon character, attempts of spelling their names right and overall, with the glimpse of innocence and creativity that childhood brings with itself. It was incredible seeing how dedicatedly their young hands tried their level best to put the sticks together in the right manner as directed by the experts of FLY360 at the site.
The modern kite making workshop organised by FLY360 was on its full swing as we reached the stage of creating the bridle of the kites. We educated the curious minds about the importance of the bridle, informed them about how it is an arrangement of strings that go between a kite. This structure plays a pivotal role in flying your kite and help it resist the pressure of the wind. The collection of sticks were stitched, sewn and tied together to create the perfect bridle. After all the hard work shed during the modern kite making workshop, it was time to enjoy the joys of flying a kite. The expert flyers of FLY360 brought out their big professional kites. Those, coupled with the kites that were made by the children, filled the vast sky with beautiful kites which were coloured in the spirit of childhood.
A surprising incident that warmed our hearts was seeing the parents so immersed in the craft of kite making.
